Our Purpose: Demystifying the Digital Space
Blockchain@NTU was founded to demystify blockchain technology and empower NTU students with the knowledge and skills to navigate this rapidly evolving digital landscape. Regardless of your academic background, we believe that understanding blockchain is becoming increasingly essential. Our club provides a supportive space for you to learn everything from the basics of blockchain and cryptography to building decentralised applications (dApps) and analysing real-world crypto projects. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to deepen your technical knowledge, there is a place for you here.
What we do: Learning, Building, Connecting
Our core activities are designed to provide a comprehensive and engaging experience for students. We regularly host engaging sharing sessions and workshops led by experienced seniors and industry professionals, covering various aspects of blockchain. These sessions simplify complex concepts and make them easy to follow.
We also organise plenty of opportunities for you to put your knowledge into practice, build innovative projects, and even win prizes! Last year, we ran the Uniswap X Blockchain@NTU DeFi Education Booth, where students picked up essential DeFi knowledge and enjoyed free bubble tea while they were at it. Our members have also showcased their talents and won prizes at prestigious global hackathons like ETHGlobal Singapore, proving the caliber of our community.
Beyond our in-person events, we extend our educational outreach through our comprehensive newsletter, "Blockchain Bytes." Accessible at https://paragraph.com/@ntublockchain, this newsletter covers all things blockchain, from Blockchain 101 for beginners to Block Bytes for quick updates and Deep Dives into more complex topics. It is a useful resource for continuous learning and staying updated on the latest trends.
Our Community: A Hub of Passion and Support
One of the most rewarding aspects of Blockchain@NTU is our vibrant and supportive community. While our main events are geared towards learning and development, we also place a strong emphasis on fostering genuine connections. Beyond our regular sessions, we host annual gatherings where members can catch up and make new connections. We are a group of passionate individuals who love sharing knowledge, working on projects together and simply hanging out. You'll find a strong sense of camaraderie and mentorship where seniors are always happy and eager to guide newer members.
