CCAs of NTU 25’: Women in Tech
Written by: Samriddhi Srivastava, President
Our Purpose: Empowering Women in Tech
NTU Women in Tech (WiT) was founded with a clear mission: to break barriers and create equal opportunities for women to thrive in technology. We provide a safe, inclusive space where NTU students—regardless of experience—can explore tech, build confidence, and grow their careers. By connecting with industry leaders and offering hands-on learning opportunities, we aim to bridge the gender gap and drive real impact in tech.
What We Do: Upskill, Inspire, Build
WiT runs an exciting calendar of events designed to empower our members. From Coding Nights for skill-building to our flagship mentorship program Womentors, we focus on both technical and professional growth. Programs like Winter She Learns equip members with practical skills through structured workshops, while the Beyond Binary Hackathon fosters creativity and collaboration to solve real-world challenges.
What makes WiT truly unique? Our strong industry partnerships. We collaborate with top companies like Jane Street, Morgan Stanley, AWS, HP, UBS, and DBS, hosting networking sessions, tech talks, and exclusive recruitment insights. These connections allow members to engage directly with global firms, discover career opportunities, and learn from leading professionals in the field.
Our Community: Supportive. Inclusive. Empowering.
WiT is home to one of NTU’s most dynamic and diverse tech communities, with over 1,500 active members. Beyond upskilling events, we focus on building relationships—through networking mixers, alumni sessions, and informal socials. Our seniors and alumni actively mentor new members, creating a culture of collaboration and shared success.
Joining Our Club: Take the First Step
No coding experience? No problem. WiT welcomes everyone interested in technology, regardless of background. You can join our public community via Instagram and Telegram to stay updated on events and resources. We would be starting out subcomm recruitment- open to freshies in August! For those who want to make a bigger impact, leadership opportunities are available during our annual recruitment drive. All we look for is passion and a willingness to learn!
