CCAs of NTU 25’: NTU Arts Festival
Written by: Janelle Siew, Programmer
What if a CCA could be your stage, your studio, your canvas and your playground?
Introducing NTU Arts Festival (NAF), the university’s largest celebration of artistic expression, where creativity meets community! Bringing students across faculties and talents across art forms together, NAF is THE annual multi-week cultural experience for the NTU community!
2026 brings new changes and exciting developments: we’re reimagining how art is experienced, with new formats, deeper engagement, extending beyond campus and into the heart of Singapore! This year’s festival will feature a Craft Market, a vibrant on-campus event blending exhibitions, contents, onsite craft workshops and DIY booths conducted by external vendors into one bustling market, along with the opportunity to explore craft and art in greater detail with our Extended Workshops. Opening alongside the Craft Market is the Bazaar, calling on independent artists and creators to show their flair (and wares) in NTU. Finally, we’re bringing the Bazaar outside for a weekend, accessible to both NTU and members of the public, including a riveting External Showcase with performances by CAC clubs, artists, and NTU jambands!
NAF isn’t just a festival, it’s a space for discovery, especially for freshies! Let the following testimonial speak for itself: I began my NAF journey just as a freshie, having taken an interest in the CCA from Welcome Week. It definitely was daunting at first, learning how to plan an event for the first time in my life, more so among seniors who seemed like they knew exactly what they were doing. But soon after, I realised, no one had it fully together, and that it was okay to not know, and even more okay to ask for help. Working together with my team members made the job and planning much easier, and I was pretty proud of what we accomplished. There was even a moment where my team looked at each other and went, “Yeah we actually did that!” If you are on the fence about joining, NAF really is a nice place to explore and learn from others :)
So what exactly do we do throughout the academic year?
Merch Mania kickstarts the year with fundraising via exclusive NAF merchandise.
NAF Teaser Week is next with interactive booths and sneak peeks of upcoming segments, gathering interest for our headline workshops!
Craft Market, our mega-campus pop-up, brings Exhibitions, Onsite Workshops and the NAF Booth together to anchor our campus presence in Semester 2.
Over three weeks, our Internal Arts Market brings over 50 vendors to NTU to showcase handmade crafts. We welcome different types of art, from crochet, to pottery and even perfume!
The Extended Workshops give students a short guided dive into different art forms, curated based on earlier interest checks.
Our showstopper: the Bazaar, a 2-day festival off-campus where the External Arts Market meets our fully public showcase, featuring artists, CAC clubs and jam bands.
But more than the events, it’s the people. Our team is made up of passionate, warm, slightly chaotic (in a good way!) students from all walks of life. We brainstorm over bubble tea, problem-solve in group chats, and cheer for each other’s wins, big or small. You don’t need any prior experience, just heart and drive.
Piqued your interest?
We’re looking for programmers, designers, marketers, problem-solvers, and most importantly, people who care about making something meaningful. More information on our interviews and sign-ups will be disseminated during Welcome Week, and we’d love to meet you then!
Whether you’re here to build, to create, or just to try something new, NAF 2026 is your invitation to be part of something bigger.
Come find your identity. Come create with us. 🎨✨
