CCAs of NTU 25’: NTU Floorball Club
One of my fondest memories in the NTU Floorball Club was during our Novice Club tournament, an event where players of different skill levels team up for a day of intense yet lighthearted matches. The energy was electric, filled with cheers, friendly banter, and the shared thrill of the game. That’s when I realized this club wasn’t just about floorball; it was about the people.
CCAs of NTU 25’: NTU Silat
Silat is more than just a martial art — it’s a celebration of discipline, culture, and community. NTU Silat offers students the opportunity to explore the rich heritage of this traditional Malay martial arts while building physical strength, mental resilience, and strong bonds with like-minded peers.
What We Do
NTU Silat focuses on both artistic (seni) and combat (tanding) silat exponents, catering to both beginners and experienced practitioners. Whether you're here to learn self-defense, compete, embrace the culture, or to keep fit, there’s a place for you in the silat family.
CCAs of NTU 25’: NTU Archery
Every Shot Counts: Life at NTU Archery Club
There’s a special kind of silence right before you release an arrow—the world fades, your focus sharpens, and it’s just you and the target. That moment is a core memory for many in NTU Archery Club (NTUAC), and it perfectly captures the spirit of what we do.
Who We Are
NTUAC is a member club of NTU Sports Club, open to all NTU students—undergraduates and postgraduates alike. Whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned archer, our club is the perfect place to explore the sport.
CCAs of NTU 25’: NTU’s Inline Skating Club
NTU Inline Skating Club is open to everyone, regardless of experience. Our goal is to create a space where anyone can pick up a fun, active hobby while building bonds with others. For beginners, it’s a chance to learn something new and boost confidence. For seasoned skaters, it’s a platform to grow in skill, whether it’s perfecting a Slalom trick or nailing your first Slide. At its core, our club is about community, movement, and stress relief.
CCAs of NTU 25’: NTU Taekwondo Club
Established in the 1980s, NTU Taekwondo Club is an officially sanctioned member of the Singapore Taekwondo Federation (STF), dedicated to the practice of Taekwondo, the Korean martial art. With over 35 years of history, the club is built on a foundation of discipline, character development, and a commitment to excellence in athletic performance.
CCAs of NTU 25’: NTU Aikido
Hi there! Let me share a quick bit about this small club of mine, known as NTU Aikido!
Aikido is a Japanese martial art which started in the early 20th century. The founder, Morihei Ueshiba, drew inspiration from his religious endeavours, personal philosophy and knowledge of other martial arts like Aikijiujitsu to found this new style.
Aikido (合氣道) can be loosely translated as “The Way of Harmony with Spirit”. Its governing principles emphasise the cultivation of oneself, deeming aggression as unjust to one’s character. This philosophy extends into techniques aiming to neutralise aggression with minimal exertion from the Aikido practitioner.
CCAs of NTU 25’: NTU Windsurfing
On my first day of windsurfing, I watched the buildings turn into tiny LEGO blocks as I drifted closer and closer to the anchored container vessels out at sea. The wind had taken me on a one-way trip towards Batam, and for a moment, I genuinely panicked. Thankfully, our instructor had been keeping a close eye on me and sped over on her small craft to tow me back to shore.
That was my first day.
And yet, I came back the very next day — hoping to chase the same thrill I had just experienced.
CCAs of NTU 25’: Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
One defining moment for NTU BJJ happens at the beginning of every first semester when we watch the newcomers come into their first training session. Most people often don’t expect how technical even the basics can be, and everything can feel awkward at first, especially with how high contact the sport can be. But seeing them slowly gain confidence, move on from their mistakes with laughter, and realize it's okay to make mistakes; that’s always a highlight. It’s a reminder of how far everyone has come, and how supportive our club environment is.
CCAs of NTU 25’: NTU Calisthenics
Ever seen someone hold themselves parallel to the ground on a bar? That’s a front lever, and at NTU Calisthenics Club, that’s just another Tuesday night. We’re the club that turns raw bodyweight into strength, control, and seriously cool moves.
Whether you’re chasing your first pull-up or your 10-second human flag, NTU Calisthenics Club welcomes everyone, no matter your background, body type, or experience. We believe strength isn’t something you have to be born with. It’s something you build.
CCAs of NTU 25’: NTU Golf
NTU’s recreational Golf Club offers a relaxed avenue for students to explore the game of golf. Whether it is your first time holding a club, or if you are trying to lower your handicap, this club gives you a chance to practice in a low-pressure environment amongst fellow golfers in the NTU community. If you are looking for something active but not too intense, this will be a great fit for you!
CCAs of NTU 25’: NTU Judo
There’s something special about the first time you learn how to fall correctly, or the quiet thrill of pulling off a move you've practiced for weeks. Whether it’s the shared groans during intense workouts or the late-night suppers that follow, NTU Judo is more than just a sport. It’s a community.
Whether you're someone who’s never worn a gi (Judo uniform) before or a seasoned judoka looking to keep your skills sharp, NTU Judo welcomes all.
